Since Motley Local began collaborating with Gibsonville in 2019, we’ve seen success through:

  • Over 10 new businesses opening in Historic Downtown Gibsonville

  • All Downtown storefronts being occupied or undergoing revitalization efforts

  • Storefront utilization has pivoted 100% toward Main Street businesses and away from ‘by appointment only’ companies

  • Downtown positive policies and processes being put forward through participation on the Gibsonville Development Advising Committee

  • Over $4,000 grant awards for the production of a community brand, events, and billboards

  • Commissioning a Gibsonville community mural

  • Welcoming more POC-owned businesses into the downtown

  • Downtown Gibsonville receiving 12+ press coverages about local growth

  • Downtown Business Mixers to enhance collaboration

  • Downtown Holiday Campaigns and partnerships with neighboring downtowns

Motley Local is on a year-based retainer and works 10 hours per month, reporting to the Town Manager.
