Motley Local is thrilled to introduce Beauty Embellished to Downtown Gibsonville as part of Motley Local’s Economic Development Consulting retainer with the town.

Tanya, Beauty Embellished’s owner, was interested in moving into a larger space for her health and wellness spa; the business was previously located in another town’s downtown district. Motley Local showed Tanya around available spaces in Downtown Gibsonville, and worked with her through potential lease drafts and buildout plans. Beauty Embellished moving to Gibsonville does a few things that are pivotal for business recruitment best practices for Gibsonville:

• Beauty Embellished is a woman and Black-owned business, adding to the diversified stakeholder community of Downtown Gibsonville

• Beauty Embellished is undergoing a build-out that is upfitting and investing in an old building to enhance the use and increase the property value

• Beauty Embellished is a draw for Main Street because it will attract people to come to Downtown Gibsonville while encouraging other activity (purchase a coffee before, buy lunch after spa services)
